18) Do you think the storytelling in "House on Loon Lake" is effective? Why or why not? Did it keep your interest? What factors contributed to the storytelling (example: music) and how did Ira and Company set the mood for the tale?
Yes, I do think it is effective and it did keep my interest. One of the most special things of it is the music. I have never heard a storytelling radio show with so much different and interesting music effect with it. Especially, some of the music is even a little bit creepy and make me really want to know what was going to happen next second. The music it used is very claptrap. The music warm up the atmosphere really well. The three forth of the tale has a quite mysterious mood with Ira and Company’s setting. They made the story felt a little bit horrible and attractive. Their work also makes the tale really lively and vivid, just like a real experience of Adam Beckmann and he was telling his story. This is really an interesting episode.
